In the fall of 2019, I had the opportunity to study abroad in London and the honor of interning at Nexus PR and Integrated Communications. They are a Public Relations firm in the heart of the city, formulating “earned” creative strategies that deliver real value through PR, social, earned influence, experience, and visual content.

Nexus has a broad client portfolio. I have worked with clients: Lee Kum Kee, British Lion Eggs, Woods FoodService, The Meatless Farm, and Deli Kitchen.

Daily interaction with outside publishing firms, such as the Telegraph, scanning for articles was crucial to the clients. I also conducted outside media, social media, and influencer research for relevant clients. Each day was different and exciting as I had the opportunity to help out with various PR and Marketing activities, depending on the project at the moment.

Along with what is below, I worked on monthly reports, researching and analyzing information for clients, compiling feature lists, and much more. For British Lion Eggs, I have assisted with social media operations including: scheduling their December calendar and publishing articles from their websites on their Pinterest page.

Egg Nog Kit Recipe Card

One of my assignments was to create a recipe card for the British Lion Egg’s eggnog kit. Below you can see the final product, along with the drafts. The final product was sent to 25 media and journalists throughout the city for the promotion of British Lion Eggs during the holiday season. The recipe was made and sent to them in the hopes that they would then write about it in the future through various publications - online and hard prints.
